Anti-Corruption Behavior Survey 2020

May 13, 2020 | BPS Activities

The Anti-Corruption Behavior Survey (SPAK) is a routine activity carried out by BPS once a year. The Anti-Corruption Behavior Survey aims to measure the assessment, knowledge, behavior, and experience of individuals regarding anti-corruption behavior of individuals in Indonesia. This survey also measures the extent of zero tolerance culture towards internalized corruption behavior in each individual, especially related to education and anti-corruption culture.
The SPAK 2020 fieldwork was conducted on March 2-31, 2020. The survey was conducted in 171 districts / cities and 34 provinces in Indonesia. Whereas in Central Java Province, there were 26 regencies / cities that carried out this survey, including in Magelang Regency. In Magelang District, the number of SPAK 2020 samples is 40 households spread across 4 subdistricts, namely Bandongan District, Kaliangkrik District, Ngluwar District, and Candimulyo District. Data generated from SPAK is used to measure the Anti-Corruption Behavior Index (IPAK). In 2019, the resulting IPAK was 3.70 from a scale of 0 to 5. The results increased from the previous year which was 3.66. The index results getting closer to 5 show that the public is increasingly anti-corruption.
