The quality of maternal healthcare services in Magelang Regency in 2025 shows a very positive development, dominated by trained healthcare professionals. In the delivery process, the midwifery profession remains the main pillar and primary choice for the community, with midwives acting as primary birth attendants in 53.86% of cases. The second main choice is Obstetricians (Specialist Services), contributing 44.23% in assisting childbirth. Meanwhile, a small percentage of deliveries were assisted by nurses (0.97%) and general practitioners (0.94%).

The full dominance of professional health workers indicates that public awareness regarding mother and infant safety during childbirth is already very high, accompanied by increasingly adequate health facilities throughout Magelang Regency. The high rate of deliveries handled by midwives and medical specialists directly reduces delivery complications and lowers maternal and infant mortality rates. This data serves as a vital foundation for the local government to continue strengthening medical workforce capacity, ensuring equal distribution of health facilities and referral services, and improving the quality of maternal and child health services in Magelang Regency.
