Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Magelang Regency held the 2026 National Statistics Day (HSN) Commemoration Ceremony on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The ceremony was conducted solemnly in the yard of the BPS Magelang Regency Office located on Jalan Soekarno Hatta No. 4, Sawitan, Mungkid, and was attended by all BPS Magelang Regency staff members.
The 2026 HSN commemoration carries the theme "Quality Statistics for a Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia". This theme emphasizes that accurate, reliable, and high-quality statistical data serve as the vital foundation for safeguarding national sovereignty, driving equitable development, and enhancing public welfare. Statistics are not merely numbers, but essential strategic navigation for public policy formulation and development planning at both regional and national levels.
During the ceremony, the Head of BPS Magelang Regency, Kus Haryono, served as the ceremony inspector and delivered an important directive. He emphasized the commitment of statistical personnel to continuously upholding data integrity, professionalism, and objectivity to provide optimal statistical information services for the public and regional government.
