Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Magelang Regency has deployed field enumerators to conduct sampling and measurement for the 2026 Rice Crop Cutting Survey Subround III. This field activity is conducted throughout the September–December 2026 period across designated sample paddy fields ready for harvest in Magelang Regency.

The Rice Crop Cutting Survey aims to generate objective, accurate, and measurable estimates of rice productivity (yield per hectare). When combined with harvest area data derived from the Rice Area Sampling Frame (KSA), this productivity metric forms a primary foundation for BPS in calculating national rice production estimates to support staple food security and market stability.
