Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Magelang Regency is conducting field data collection for the Third Quarter 2026 Large and Medium Industry Survey (IBS). This enumeration activity is carried out periodically by field officers visiting various large and medium-scale manufacturing enterprises and business units operating across Magelang Regency.
The implementation of the Large and Medium Industry Survey aims to capture and obtain accurate, up-to-date, and continuous manufacturing industry statistics. The collected data encompasses production growth, employment absorption, cost structures, and the performance dynamics of the manufacturing sector. Information gathered from this survey serves a highly strategic role as a foundational basis for calculating regional and national economic growth, particularly the industrial sector's contribution to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP).
During field execution, enumerators carry out questionnaire recording, data consistency checks, and direct interviews with company management or designated representatives. Through rigorous quality control, BPS Magelang Regency remains fully committed to producing high-quality, objective, and reliable industrial statistical data to support the formulation of well-targeted economic development policies.
