Economic of Magelang Regency in 2015 grow 5,35 percent.Growth supported by almost all categories, After that, Categories of Electricity and Gas experienced contraction of 2,60 percent. Highest growth was achieved by the Business Activities of 9,74 percent,  Information and Communication of 9,45 percent, Financial and Insurance Activities of 8,82 percent, and Transportation and Storage of  8,54 percent.As for a share gdp growth mainly derived from business field agricultural, forestry, and fishery of 1.03 percent, followed business field industry processing ( 0,96 percent ); big trade of retail and, a serviceman cars and motorcycles ( 0,63 percent ); construction ( 0,56 percent ); partnership other growth under 0.50 percent includes mining and quarrying; procurement gas and electricity; water supply; transportation and warehousing; provision accommodation and food drink; information and communication; financial services and insurance; real estate; company service; administration; health and social activities; and other service.
