Abstract

Inflation was shown by an increase in the index in the clothing group by 0.37 percent followed by the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group by 0.18 percent; health group of 0.10 percent; education, recreation, and sports group of 0.05 percent; and the transportation, communication and financial services group by 0.02 percent. Deflation was indicated by a decrease in the index in the foodstuffs group by 0.26 percent followed by the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group by 0.003 percent.
