Farmer Exchange Rate (FER) of Magelang Regency in 2018 was 102,83

Abstract

During 2018, the average farmer exchange rate (NTP) of Magelang Regency was above 100, which was 102.83 with an index received by farmers (It) of 134.14 and an index paid by farmers (Ib) of 130.45. This shows that on average the period January to December 2018 farmers experienced positive changes or in other words the value received by farmers from agricultural products produced is greater than the value paid by farm households for household consumption needs and production costs and for the addition of capital goods

The five Agriculture Subsectors composing the highest FTT values were the Plantation sub-sector 108.79, the Food crops subsector 102.39, the 102.09 subsector, the Livestock subsector 101.27 and the Horticulture subsector 100.18.

Magelang Regency NTP value (102.83) when compared to Central Java NTP (102.24) is slightly higher. Likewise with NTUP Regency. Magelang (109.77) higher than NTUP Central Java (108.82)
