Abstract

The main cause of deflation in Jawa Tengah in April 2020 was the decline in the price of red chili, purebred chicken, garlic, broiler eggs and cayenne pepper. The main barrier to deflation in Central Java is the rising price of gold jewelery, shallots, sugar, house contract rates and cooking oil.
