Poor Population and Income Equalization in Magelang Regency 2012

The poverty level and the percentage of people living below the poverty line and economic inequality or income distribution inequality are the main problems of developing countries. A number of development experts have emphasized strategies to improve the welfare of the population not only in terms of economic growth but also in view of the quality of growth. The poverty line in Magelang Regency in the period 2004-2012 experienced an increase of Rp 113 110 per capita per month or an average increase of Rp 12 568 per year or an average increase of 11.03 percent per year, from Rp. 113 953, - in 2004 to Rp 227 063, - in 2012.
