Executive Summary of Paddy Harvested Area and Production in Magelang Regency 2020

Data Collection on Integrated Food Crop Agricultural Statistics using Area Sampling Frame (ASF) method is a collaborative activity between BPS-Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) supported by the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (Ministry of ATR / BPN), Geospatial Information Agency (BIG), as well as the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (LAPAN). This activity has been implemented nationally since 2018 and included in a national project to support the achievement of food security as one of the national priorities in the context of improving food statistical data. The main objective of this activity is to obtain an objective, scientific, and modern method of collecting paddy harvested area involving the role of technology, so that agricultural data, especially paddy production data collected becomes more accurate, faster, and timely. This executive summary provides information regarding the results of the 2020 ASF data collection.
